quite an arduous service regime but it's done about 30 miles so far haha.. the CST (Cheap ShiT) tyres need binning so will fit some new uns

Extra day off for me tomorrow so it's full chain clean time. Then off for an hour or two on the bike, might find beach and chips

ZX10R buddie, who is (even) owder than me btw, went off for a spin bh weekend.. ended up in Wales

mine did not move for 10 days over easter but i was there today, hale landing in my nutsack and lightning hitting the taller cars.

CRF tomorrow.. my wiring has more gremlins than the sequel.. back light off but brake light ok so wgaf

I removed the spark arrestor/baffle.. result is loud.. i put it back but i didnt want to

The key is i arrive at work or home smiling, in any car (i have) i arrive ready to lamp someone..

See my commute is 6.20am to work on B roads with two very short dual carriageway sections and the return home is the same at 4pm. Bike or car i do it smiling - it genuinely IS nice to be able to choose based on what i fancy taking as opposed to what I have to. I'd like to say i'm less angry than you with a better tolerance for idiots but i'd be telling absolutely massive porkies

oh i can choose but car is frequently misery and slow, bike is sometimes wet but varies by <5 mins +/-

so i choose bike

it would be nice to fall back in the rain but traffic here is shat

anyway.. changed the trans oil on the CRF today, such an easy bike to work on, drained the crank breather, checked a few parts, cleaned fuel filter.. just valve clearances now, maybe next weekend..

oh, trans oil is 10w30 4 stroke stuff, about £11..

All good cheap fun - chain on mine was minging. Now nice and clean / flexible. Feels much smoother through the gears. New exhaust T-2 days.
