Not sure what else i want to do to mine other than tax it / put fuel in it but then i guess that's the thing with a relatively new bike.
that Z is a different beast and just needs stock TLC especially with you looking after it. they are well made.

this CRF has had a hard life i reckon but its a Honda and a learning thing for me. the boss tells me i got it as the SC thing stopped breaking but this is largely there for a bit now, just needs a smaller plate, few bits for MOT and some primo tyrez (who fits budget ffs?)

Quite, when you are riding along on a credit card sized bit of contact, surely you'd want the very best you can on it.

We do still have a 400SF, a C90 and a restored NC50 so all is not lost from a tinkering perspective - it's just that none of those have to be ridden. That and the fact they are hers, not 'ours' They all need coaxing / coercing into life and i haven't the time or the patience for any of that.

youtuber royal jordanian had a monkey but i havent seen him post a video using it for a long time, which suggests he doesn't or he flogged it already. i think we all use the grunt of bigger boys toys to get ourselves clear of twunts and that tiddler might struggle if not in traffic.. my commute is a mix upto about 70mph.. ahem.. ish not monkey territory

the XS is superbly suited to it imho

that monkey should suit London but it's not suiting him.. his vids are funny and worth a watch

Just to depress you, there are only 4 months of the year that you are not paying tax, MOT and or service.

Enjoy :-)

i pay tax every month. just not much.

service are all at Nott Garage inc except the 24 month stamp visit to sytner so its not expensive at all

this means a tyre and £100 oil and filter for the BM this month.. i have done sub 3k miles in it this year

my bikes cost pennies to run

the most expensive has been the 2001 S2 with a new boot floor and windscreen surround repair and paint with new seal.. 1400 quid ish
