i meant if he had a dealer account.. they get the checks for peanuts due to volume. iirc the "insurance" is pretty cheap too.

HPI cover it themselves , Experian farm that out to a 3rd party insurer

for the sake of £20 i would always take the HPI check and follow what they tell you to the letter. I believe HPI used to pay out on clones and Exp did not for example
