Ok, I love my S2000
But what if I needed more seats, had a budget of around 7k , and wanted similar performance, running costs and reliability what car would you consider?
Ps RWD preferred
My list of possibilities so far are: -
Honda Civic Type R EP3
Honda Civic Type R FN2
Mazda RX8
BMW 130i
VW Golf GTI 2005
Cheers

I have an ep3 as well as the s2k, I wouldnt be gutted to only have the ep3, its fun to drive and costs to same to run. The fn2 is a better daily as it has more toys, but I havent druven either on a track just the road.
I would however be searching for a 130i, it has a great engine and should also be reliable, but every bmw I have had has needed suspension arms and bushes changing as the get sloppy quickly

^^^^ for 7k
For 7k I would buy a mint clio 182 and get an engine dynamics low boost turbo converion with the change,
A nice reliable 210hp in an already fun hatch
Or if I was forced to buy a standard car and keep it standard,a clio 197.
