Loan Car
Is it just me or do other people also always get boggo loan cars when their S is being fiddled with by their dealer?
Even the girl on the phone at Chris Knott sounded genuinely suprised that my dealer had only loaned me a 1.4 Jazz.
Has anyone ever been loaned something interesting from a Honda dealer?

Not interesting but i was loaned a Suzi Alto 1litre Auto from a Honda body shop when i had some work done.
Thrashed within an inch of its life.
Steering and brakes were so bad, when i got the S2000 back and went to turn out of the car park i almost hit the curb as the S2000 turned so fast compared to it and when i hit the brakes i thought i was going to headbutt the steering wheel.

Usually a Jazz.
An NSX would eventually make the cost of servicing ridiculous.
Actually, apart from the inadequate caster leading to wonky steering, the Jazz is quite fun, by modern standards. I always quite admire them, by the time they go back.
Got a Civc Hybrid once, which was dangerously slow. But great fun instruments!

Loan cars are always a missed opportunity to cross/upsell imo.
e.g. I got Civics mostly, a Jazz once. They "should" have thought, Hey here's a guy in this 30s, maybe married with kids, position to spend money on cars, lets put him in an Accord rather than a Jazz, he may end up buying one. If they come in with a Jazz, put them in a Civic or highly specced Jazz and so on.

I had a hybrid too and had loads of fun with the instruments too. Can't quite remember what the dial did but the fun involved thrashing it within an inch of its life then driving like a granny to see if you could recover the battery life
