Yes, I'll give that a shot Mark.
It's a confidence issue. I'm quite 'committed' usually but it was beginning to rain...
The old smooth line thing is counter-productive here.
Quite impressed with wet grip on the standard car too (AO48) .
Not quite hanging with the hot hatches in the wet, but far better than the porkers and assorted Atoms that were moving out of the way

NSX is a bit like that, but not as pronounced.
Trail brake ad wait until you can see your way clear of the corner before nailing it.
Just have to remember to unlearn that a bit when getting back into an S2000!

Ok so I flew up on Friday to look at the car. It was as good as was described.
Got a few small issues with stonechipping on the aero kit which I will sort with venture tape.
Had ad a blast driving back from Edinburgh to Jedburgh through the Northumbrian park. Great twisty roads up there and showed the potential of the car.
Got it back to my house in about 9 hours with a few stops.
on Sunday assisted putting a rebuilt engine into an S that is currently parked on my driveway. We have been building the engine up over the last few months only because he lives in France and only comes over for short trips for work.
Here are a couple of pics.

The Elise has gone in today for its annual service and they've given me an Exige 380 Sport as a courtesy car which I'll also have tomorrow.
It's been quite damp/wet down here today so haven't done anything too mental in it, but holy crap it is fast.
I've had it in Sport mode a few times and that fires things up nicely, but haven't tried Race mode yet due to poor conditions. I did pop it into Race mode for a second at idle and the engine started growling like a wounded beast. It also barks like a mad dog when changing gear when you're on it.
Proper nuts!
