Default New NSX Canned

Well, that's about the final straw...only 2 weeks after pulling out of F1 Honda go and cancel the new 560bhp V10 NSX and that almost certainly means no new S2k, at least not in the near future...

What is it Honda are always saying 'without racing there is no Honda'.

Obviously they are doing something wrong, Nissan don't appear to have too much trouble - look at the new GTR and 370Z. I think Honda have really gone off the boil in recent years....

Long live the S2000 in its current guise, that's about all Honda have to shout about, oh and the CTR of course.....

On the plus side it means that the current car will remain current, perhaps they might tweak bits here and there. Out of production models always devalue very quickly. Out of date is another argument.

The economic climate out there is causing all sorts of re-thinks across the board.

Its really disappointing, coming hot on the heels of the F1 news, as well as Suzuki and Subaru pulling out of WRC, but I hope its a decision made to ensure the company is still there when economies around the world recover.

Now, if economic considerations are not the reason for such a decision..... well, that's a whole different matter.

The new Nissan 370Z looks sweet and is lighter than the old 350Z.

Looks like we'll just have to run our S's until the engine pops and pop in a new one
