i agree on probably all those points, the issue is if you are in the market right now its difficult. the Tesla Model X makes a BMW M4, a Merc etc feel so out of date but equally its too large for the UK at 5m+ and rather pricey.

the Model 3 is ****ing hideous

anything else pure electric is either that dull Nissan, Korean bargain basement stuff or a potential nightmare Jag..

or a 40k Honda with 100 mile range
