Default Optimax premium.

Filled herself’s car at nearest Shell today as it was as cheap as any others local, was gonna take the Honda along when we’re out later for fuel, but noticed it was a 23p premium on the good stuff!!! Needless to say we’ll just stop off at Tesco. Cashier didn’t have the decency to wear a mask.

Just filled up at Tesco when we were out, 6p difference between that and e10, I’ll stick to Tesco for mine. Been nice recently so actually had some gentle scenic runs out and getting mid 20s, That’ll changed at the megameet weekend.

Geez, how are you driving? I normally get 27+ mpg on our baby US gallons.

I’ve done less than that, but don’t tell plod, the speed limit may have sacrificed, normally low to mid 20s for me.

I have never got that Chuck, even in the NA one (200-220 on a tank?)
the boosted one can be readily reduced to 12-14 range in summer assuming you lack strong desire to retain your licence and liberty
which I often do

Strictly naturally aspirated here. Tuned for lower VTEC but that's it. I typically refuel at about 280 miles on the trip odometer and usually fill with 10 US gallons -- call it 28mpg. That's 8.3 UK gallons so my 28mpg would be your 23mpG. Even if I needed a full 13 US gallons that'd be 22mpg (18mpG).

Mere curiosity. I didn't buy this car to save money or gasoline but was really surprised at the low number not realizing it was forced induction. Suburban/rural driving 95% of the time.
