Dukes of Hazard style Vinyl seems more apt .....

Teflon would be a nice idea or maybe would have other issues.
Though this area is not over problematic, see how it goes

PTFE will generally only form a working film when dry unless you physically coat both surfaces, or run the bearing dry to start with to bed it in and then supply oil/lubrication - not much good in an engines bottom end - , molybdenum will chemically bond to the other surface under pressure and heat, and the graphite mix top coat adsorbs oil to the surface sites to help against dry startups, also will take more loading than PTFE will.
Oil flow isn't really an issue, it's not high flow/high rpm that I'm worried about, more low rpms with low flow when the clutch will be held down for a significant period - slipping to crawl through the paddock or holding the clutch down to engage launch at the start until the lights go, etc.

That is straight out of Carmageddon/Mad Max
If this was Anerica you could go to work in it
What does it weigh?

Few bits to go on yet but we should be just under the tonne with a full tank + driver/codriver included, so should be looking easily north of 400bhp/tonne unladen.
450 is achievable once we remake the bonnets in fibreglass and switch to a lighter battery, etc. (Well, it's achievable anyway by turning the boost up, but we'll leave it on low for a while unless we magically find some traction)

Everything is back up and running again, doesn't have that bloody whistling noise any more either, bonus!
Need to get new CV's and modify the internals for race use, finish the ancillary wiring loom (horn/wipers/washers, etc) but it's had a quick run just to check the fuelling and ignition side were safe for bedding in - it's not had any optimisation yet, just a flat fuel added and ignition pulled until happy, so the bottom end has a few holes atm, but considering it only had 1 run up, it's well, quite rudely healthy....

Still waiting on CV's, but the old adaptors were tired and leaking on the seals around them in the 'box - so new ones made:

Good news, the CV joints are here!
Bad news, they're the undercut 'race' ones with undersized CV balls that we don't want, , as they're crap for wear and distort where the bolt heads are undercut.
So yes, more waiting....
So, in the meantime, MOAR WING!
