Indeed can't imagine many people rattle canning E92 interiors.

I don't get why more people don't buy these things (I know I haven't
but I will.. possibly). They are probably now depreciation proof and will happily get you to work if needed

Actually, the interior of the Tesla version's really quite nice. But batteries are for ladies' relaxation.

A guy living somewhere in these parts had one of those but not seen it for years. Didn't they weigh rather a lot?

I cannot imagine an electric car for fun. It's like an electric chainsaw.. probably effective but lacking drama.. Like a sex doll vs the.. err.. real thing
back OT the vauxy engine is probably a lot lower maint than a k series.. back in the day the old red top 16v 2 was pretty bullet proof

Yes, the Tesla is pretty, and pretty heavy.
The Rover Kettle-series was admirably light. Its ridiculous design errors are easily fixed, though. The GM lump is a pretty decent one, albeit heavier. Not a lot heavier is the Toyota V6...this Lotus business becomes a slippery slope!

Excellent choice. Had a test drive of one of these in 2006 and had a hoot, Staples Corner to Scratchwood Services and back.
Decided against it as it was a daily driver and was a little too spartan so went for one of those little Honda two seater things instead.

Carpet set fitted over weekend, still a few bits to tidy up and stick down but has made car much nicer to be in
made some new rear decals for another member, will replace mine with silver, easier to clean and mines on the piss anyway.
bought a spare wheel to send for retrim, undecided on finish as of yet.
Also booked on Oulton at weekend to put it through its paces.
