The new CrunchyMan isn't much better tbh,
The only Mini that looks half decent is the 3 door hatch. All the other variations are trying too hard and look a little forced or out of proportion.

WTF is going on with that grille? It looks like it's in grievous despair.
Mind you, I've noticed that I actually avert my eyes from modern M-Bs - especially those Allegro-class things.

i concur, they are a cunts car, small (in their standard guise), expensive, unreliable and god awful inside

IIRC it was Frank Stephenson, who developed the design for the first generation 'new' Mini, who also developed the concept/design for the first generation 'new' Fiat 500. He's at McLaren now...
It's a tie as to whether the Fiat 500XL or the Mercedes Benz A-Class take the accolade as the ugliest p.o.s. on the road.
They make one of my favourite 'quirky' cars appear really rather handsome...
