Look at a map around Malaga once you're away from the coastal road next to no traffic and you're in the siera. Well maintained btw.
the s2000 stays in France even has french numberplate now. Empty roads too there. I don't stay long in Belgium anymore. If I'm there I often use the CT.

i think you have it right Unc. i commute 4 days on the bike and in winter, on fridays, take a car.. allows me to grab a takeaway more easily on the way home..

i am always pissed off after that drive whereas on the bike, some twunt annoys me and i am gone

Oh agreed, on the right roads, in the right weather and on the right day it's a lovely car to drive. There are not so many days / roads like that left in the UK that you can get to without either a load of planning or a tediously long drive.

As Nottm says - in the UK, the bike is the best way to enjoy the commute. It makes gaps / overtakes that a car simply cannot.

The roads are heaven for a biker in the Périgord. Eldest son is planning on bringing his Fireblade over here. Still has the ctr at home and my CT oc when i'm away. i.e. most of he time.

Well, I'll be joining the Fiesta ST bandwagon soon, had a drive out in one today although I've driven one a few years ago. It really is a gem of a car, 80 on the motorway was returning 40-42mpg, comfy, spacious and goes well.

The only thing i've changed ( and the only thing id change ) is the headlight lamps to HID or LED. Beyond that, assuming you're looking at the last shape model, i'd go for the ST3 spec as it comes with all the options fitted.

Quick Reply: Today i bought ....
