You might need to put the H1s back in at MOT-time.

I'm age-exempted, apparently.

allegedly they are not allowed to remove parts of the car to check. as long as cut off passes .. and what is fitted is working.

we shall see but it's a minor concern as the lenses are already projector fitted so designed for hid.

They'll probably pass with 4300K, then. As long as the ballasts aren't too obvious.

It's ambiguous, as apparently you can stick Toc.H LEDs in, but a well-adjusted HID kit is illegal if the car wasn't type-approved with it and has the appropriate designation on the lens.

It's a bit absurd, when the other day I got stuck behind a Reno Old Master and couldn't get the stink out of my nostrils for about six hours...

They are 4300K HID - none of that blue crap here. Ballasts are tucked away under the headlights, similar to the S2000. I doubt the garage i'll use will care either way - which is why i use them.

Looking at the old model but had a spin in a new 3 pot Performance pack model as well. The new one is a more refined car, LSD is a big plus but the engine isn't as good as the 4 pot and the old car puts a bigger grin on your face, the new car is a slightly better all rounder, but the old car has the same feel good factor that an S2000 has, something which very few modern Performance cars have IME.

I'm not too bothered which spec the car I get is, the ST1; Despite being poverty spec is more appealing as it doesn't have the utterly bewildering mess of a Sony head unit which is a complicated, ergonomic mess IMO.

Amen to that, sound quality is mega, it's a mess, reminds of an old 90's hi-fi which needlessly has way too many buttons lol.

And that's the S2000 off to a new home. Almost 10 years and a lot of fun / friends but it's someone else's journey now.

I'll be about but much less frequently.
