Haha! that's madness... Crazy pics.

Being in the parts trade I've seen some mad things.

Chap came in recently, Astravan needed some discs as they were grinding.

Got them out of the boot, and the disc had separated in two, right down the slot/vent in the middle! incredible and daft!

I would have refused to put the wheel back one without it being fixed, under grounds of not preparing a car to leave your premises in a dangerous state, and also refused to let them use your tools or facilities to do it themselves on H&S grounds.
If they want to get the police involved, that's their issue.

Most European countries have some kind of MOT.
In Belgium it's done by an independent organisation.

Was that the PAS pump, or did something else loud & heavy fall off & he didn't notice?

Not just the pulley though - looks like the whole bearing & impeller's unscrewed itself. That'd make a clunk.

Still not as bad as the brain donor with the brakes, though.

It was a Peugeot 306, owner had only had the car a few days, French cars keep me busy.

That's in good nick for a FIAT.

I was welding a 2008 Punto up last week where the floorpan had rotted through...
