I have an older mountain bike that is in good condition (refitted it a few years back with new kit).
It doesn't have the new larger wheels, and the derailleur needs to be adjusted, but it basically looks new still. http://imgur.com/a/MqIPx
Otherwise, I'd think $50 would get you a decent bike on CL.

Ended up picking up a nice Trek 7000 from a THSCC member. Looks great with some upgrades and only cost me a $100 bucks.
