Pinky lives in "Chapel Hill," haha.

I live in Durham.

To count there are 37 owners in the Triangle. I'm sure there are many that I don't know about.

Yeah, it's more like Pittsboro but the community when getting built liked the prestige of "Chapel Hill" so I swear petitioned to get classified as such.

Chapel Hill annexed that area for the Tax Revenue and as part of a deal for Chatham Park to be 100% Pittsboro. Same thing happened when we were going to build in Brier Chapel. It was still Pittsboro then but now it's also Chapel Hill...

I’m house shopping in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro school district for mu 5-yr old. Finding a house with space for a car trailer has been a challenge. Any recommended safe spots to store a car trailer?

Welcome!!!! I would try to host another Tech Day but I think we would all just melt! I am like 20 min from Cary. PM me if you want to head this way and grab a beer one day after work. I can bring a few brew up to the Clubhouse in our community.

Offer open to anyone else too!!!

Still house hunting. Will be moving up end of Jul. Probably go into a short term lease while house hunting.

House hunting in the Triangle:

1) Same day offer
2) 5-15K above asking price
3) High DD & E money
4) No closing cost assistance.

Prepare to be outbid 3-5 times. We didn't get our house until try number 6 (New custom home in East Durham, .75 acre, no HOA)

Orange County has some good schools. The new home builds have not quite caught up to that of Wake but they are starting to roll. We currently live in east Durham but are keeping an eye out to be a first mover into Chatham Park for 1) Schools and 2) community amenities. Zoey's only 9 months so we have a while to make the move for good schools.
