I got a 24 over in Wilkesboro reduced to improper equipment by walking into the courthouse and talking with the DA. Always worth trying that first, unless its a long drive, most lawyers only charge like 50-150 bucks on top of the fees you would already have to pay.

Anyways cool you got it settled without a lawyer.
