Dealing with Insurance
So, I'm sitting at a stoplight in my AP-1 and some idiot rear ends me with his F250 work truck. Not sure what his insurance is going to do (Geico), but the car is pretty close to totaled, especially given the stupid low values in KBB and NADA. If it's fixable, I want it fixed. If not, Geico owes me a 2003 Suzuka Blue S.
Anybody have experience with getting their S repaired or replaced by insurance?

Not my S2000 but other cars. Who cares about his insurance or if he has any?
YOUR insurance is responsible to fix your car. Deal with them. Get the car repaired to your satisfaction (if that's possible). Your insurance company will sue his for reimbursement, don't even talk to them.

Unfortunately if an insurance company decides to total your car: They are going to pay you what they think is fair value. I just made a post about switching to Hagerty so you can choose a value for your car. Don't think regular insurance is going to be a good option our cars. I don't want to find out what my present insurance company would pay out for my 02 Suzuka Blue S. Good luck.
My normal carrier (State Farm) wanted to insure my S at an agreed value of $14k. I set up a policy with Hagerty at an agreed replacement value of $30k and bumped it up earlier this year to $35k as the vehicle's value increased with the market. I think my policy's annual mileage allowance is like 2-3,000 miles per year. I've only put about 1,800 on it since August 2020.
