Is there any chance of the dye bleeding on clothes if it were to get wet or anything?

Yep, great "mini" fix without repairing the leather itself, which would obviously be more time consuming and expensive.

Looks fantastic. I'd like to dye mine. What product do you use?

We use SEM Solve, SEM Color Coat, SEM Plastic & Leather preparer and rubbing alcohol. We add some things to the Color Coat though but I won't state what those are. That's what gives us the look we get. Sorta like the secret recipe.

As I read through this...I was thinking, WTF is the big deal, just tell us already...now I see why it wasn't put out in the open.

If you're advertising a service, simply state that in advance. This forum is available for us to share experiences... It looked as if you were doing that and then it seems you're 'advertising' a service...but then you're not. And don't get me wrong, it's a great service that I'm sure folks would take advantage of...just be upfront with it.

Honestly, this thread is like having blue balls...and no one likes that BS.

I'm not advertising anything, merely showing what we did to my seats by merely dying them without repairing the leather. Maybe I shouldn't have said we could do this for someone else a few posts above but I'm not advertising nor offering this as we are not a sponsor.

The part where you said "the secret recipe" shows clearly to me that it was offering a service and did not want to let out the "secret recipe".

Great job though if you did offer a service I am sure people would be interested.
