All of the above ideas are great!! Southern Pines would be nice (golf anyone 
) as I could stay with my parents in Durham. The coastal areas like Hatteras or Ocracoke would be great too!

Glad to see you liked Bald Head, I grew up at Holden Beach, NC and made the ride arross the inlet to Bald Head many times. I'd like to make a run up the Coast. I live in Myrtle Beach now and can help if anyone wants golf or nightlife as part of the trip.. let me know
