I am looking for a shop within a few hours of Asheville, NC, to take my S2000. I will be trailering it.

I believe something is going on in the top end of my motor, but I am looking for a professional opinion and someone to do the work to resolve it.

Two recommendations if you’re up for driving a couple hours. 1) Asia Works Inc in CLT. They have two locations but I’m only familiar with the location at 10715 Park Rd. Honest service, great work, and reasonable prices. I’ve seen S2000s at this shop. A guy named Adam used to be the shop manager. Not sure if he’s still there but great individual. 2) Another outstanding Honda mechanic in CLT metro area is Eric’s Honda Service near Concord/Kannapolis.

These were my go to independent shops when I lived in the CLT metro area. Don’t think you could go wrong with either one. Have taken many Hondas to both these shops when I lived in CLT metro. If you go to Eric’s tell him Randy with the red S2000 sent you. Not sure if they work on modified cars.

 

Thanks so much for the recommendations, I will do some research on these two and see if they can do modified vehicles.

HondaMedics is top notch but it is here in Charleston. Probably farther than you want to travel.
