Mazda & Kia do offer gears that will fit our car, but neither offer the 4.57 ratio. Mazda offers a 4.4 and Kia a 4.7. Other ratios may be available but those are the most common. The gears cost in the area of $400-500 depending on the source. You need to account for another $200-300 in OEM parts to install them. Labor can range from free (good luck) to $900 for someone like Puddymod (the best!).

You also have to keep in mind that the Kia and mazda gears are just that KIA or Mazda gears, they were never built or intended for high horsepower applications.
The Richmond 4.57 gears are the strongest rear end gear available for the S2k. Thats why its a very popular choice for SuperCharged and track guys looking for more low end TQ and acceleration.
what i am selling is a complete diff and gear package ready to drop in. Like I said I am looking to trade for an OEM AP2 diff in good working order. I will provide all installation services.

Hmm I think it would be nice to come back home and have a set of gears installed.... PM me Kenny. My car is still sitting in Greenville SC. I had a blast riding in your car while I was home BTW.
