I Wanna See A Red One!!!
I have wanted a RED S2000 for years now. While the pre-04 styling was perfect, I have really grown to love the 04 styling as well. Well, let's put it this way... I don't think the "styling" has changed, but some of the asthetic features are refreshing.
Anyway, to get to the point. I still think red is the best color for me. BUT I CAN'T FIND A RED 04 TO TAKE A LOOK IN PERSON!!! I stopped at four Honda dealers on my way home from VA yesterday. Four dealers and only three cars (all yellow). Photos just don't do the S2000 justice (although I still stare at them all day every day).
So, my Carolina friends, please tell me there is someone in the Columbia, SC area with a red 04 that might be willing to meet me in the next several weeks for a walk around and maybe a quick photo op. If the NFR 04 is as pretty as I think it is, I might have my order in the very next day. Please PM me if you live in the area.

I hear you Garrett...
Actually, that's one of the reasons I like it so much. As if an S sighting isn't rare enough (good thing) I see more silver (either Sebring or Silverstone) and yellow ones than any other color. I'd say I see red the least. It's almost exotic. BUT, I'm gonna have to see one in person before I order.
Thanks though.

NFR s2000s are quite rare. That color, along with GPW, seems to be the most rare color at our events. Even at most meets, unless Turnfast or Ron is showing up, NFRs are few and far between.
Please be sure to post a pic of an 04 if you find one.
Good luck.

hey,
i'm in north augusta and Gerald Jones Honda in Augusta has an '03 NFR on the lot that's new. it is probably still there, as i was there a month ago picking up an HID ballast for mine and saw it. i can give them a call and see if they still have it if you want to take a look at it.
just trying to help,
chris

I think the salesman that sold me my 04 bought a red one. His name is BA and it was the honda dealer in W Columbia off Airport Road. Might want to check out that dealer.
