I previously posted this on my garage thread, but realize it is more suitable as in indecent thread.

I just saw Sam's Club is having a sale on bulk LED shop lights - 10 for $284.98. (Regular price is $36 each). I already bought this pack two weeks ago and unfortunately paid $309.98. (I will see if they honor 30-day price guarantees.)

My woes aside, if a few of you want to get together for a "group buy," I can confirm this is an excellent bargain. Two units light a 20x20 garage quite nicely. They are very low power, will never burn out, don't break like florescent lights, no special disposal, and they can be daisy-chained for easy instal.

Update: Sam's is selling these lights for $24.88 each one day only, this Saturday 8/5. This is the best price I've seen and no need to buy a box of ten. (Regular price is $34.88)

These things sold out in hours online. I checked at 7:00am and they were sold out. Luckily I needed to go by the store and they still had some. Installed 4 so far. Such a huge difference from using the 1 ceiling light and the lights on the garage door opener. Thanks Will!

I had to get a few more for home, so we went and stood in line at 6:30. That was a little unnecessary, but I wanted to be home in time to help Thomas change his wheel bearings.

Later, I realized I needed one more, so my wife went back in time to see our neighbor walking out with the last two. While she was calling to give me the bad news, someone returned 7. She got one of them but described the scene like a Cheeto in a bed of fire ants.
