LS6 race car build

So after owning my S for two years I have decided to turn it into a full race car. I have one more STR autocross event this month before I can start stripping down my S. The power plant for my build will be a Ls6 out of a 04 Z06. I purchased the donor Z06 last week off of copart. I have a parts guy who is taking the Z06 off my hands this week. My total engine investment 2500$. I plan to sell my 2.2L and all other unused Honda goodies. The money I get from my collection of parts will more then fund the build making it a cost effective 400 ft. lbs. of torque compared to FI. I'm using the import Muscle swap kit.(http://www.importmuscle.com/)
this past weekend was step one:

Look up ruut (Randall) on the site if you have questions. He had A LOT to do with the kit and has done one himself.

Hehe, I'm right behind you dude. Love it.

So rutt, what would you say were the main differences in fitting the LS6 into the bay versus the LS1 that Import Muscle recommends and says that their kit is designed around? I've heard that the main (only?) difference between the LS1 and the LS6 is the heads? Are the mounting locations the same, meaning that all the mounting bracketry from the Import Muscle guys works just the same?

The mount plates will bolt up the same. The one thing I will warn you about is OILING. If you are going to run wide STICKY tires the stock pan WILL NOT be good enough. I learned the hard way and now I'm looking at oiling options and rebuild. :(

This is what I mean by wide. 295 front and 335 rear Hoosier A6s.

thanks for the tip... I plan to upgrade my oil pan, water pump, and install a oil cooling kit. from my understand the import muscle kit is designed to work with any LS block, its the trans that is specific to the kit and fitment. I'm pretty sure you need a F body t56(99-02). I will be picking the t56 up hopefully later this week.

I have a 2010 Camaro diff that is about to get a OSgiken LSD put in it. When the engine spun a rod bearing I started looking at the project trying to figure out what to do. I got distracted with this while my engine guy comes up with a plan. https://www.facebook.com/haldastracing
