I'm down in Mooresville this week house hunting but we are 100% moving by end of summer and hopefully buying a new house this week in the lake Norman area.

Anyone else around this area? Seems really nice so far but only been here a couple of days.

Keep mixing up Mooresville and Morrisville! I am over near Pittsboro about 2 hours away. Though it's awesome to have someone like yourself in the state!

Why are you moving? I came down here only about 2 years ago now from CT and love NC! It's definitely HOME.

I know there is a decent Charlotte following in the area. So you shouldn't be far from good people.

I used to live there as well. It's a beautiful area and you're about 3.5 hours from the dragon. Good luck with the move!

Several of our Carolinas guys live in the Mooresville area... Doug and Kevin as mentioned above, as well as one of the (many) Matt's, Will... and someone else that I'm forgetting.

I grew up in Mooresville and live one exit up Troutman. I'm sending you a PM on homes to consider. You can get A LOT more house and land for your money in Troutman, but several communities do not show up on the MLS reports because they have a Statesville Zip.

Looks like I found a house today just waiting on a couple checks before putting an offer in. Has a 3 car garage which I'm super happy about!
