NE Columbia Meet/Eat
Well, with all the other local meets going on around the Carolina's, it's probably about time we have a Columbia Meet & Eat!
Who knows, maybe we can turn this into a frequent event.
When:
Tuesday, September 18
Let's shoot to eat at 6:30p.
Relevant Details:
You can check out the menu here: Wild Wing Cafe. Just click on the tab labeled 'What's Cooking."
Tuesday is '2 FER TUESDAY,' buy a dozen wings, get a dozen free. Just a heads up, according to their website they only accept one check per table so it might be helpful to have cash.
Where:
Alright... Let's go with Wild Wing Cafe this time around, as there is some decent parking nearby.
For those that are not sure where it is, here are some directions from I-20. If you have any questions or need directions from a different approach just post in here.
- Wild Wing Cafe is at the Village @ Sandhill.
- From I-20 West (East) get off on exit 80 and turn right (left) onto Clemson road. Just follow Clemson Road north ~3.5 miles from I-20 (exit 80).
- You'll go through a few lights on Clemson as soon as you get off of I-20, and then Clemson will neck down to one lane each way (merge left).
- Upon Clemson expanding back to two lanes each direction, you'll pass the exit for Two-Notch Road (Rt. 1).
- Turn left at the first light following this exit into Village @ Sandhill (You'll see a BB&T branch office on the corner).
- Once you turn left into the Village @ Sandhill, simply drive straight back to get to the "Town Center." Wild Wing Cafe is on the rotary.
- I plan to park kinda behind the buildings where there's less traffic and congestion as designated on the map. Just turn left at the intersection before you reach the rotary. You'll see Wisteria Aveda Salon/Spa on the corner. (If you reach the rotary, just go ~3/4 around and turn right by Wild Wing Cafe and then take your first left.)

I figured we'd go with Wild Wing Cafe this time around. There's some decent parking nearby and it should be a good spot on a Tuesday. I'll edit my post above with directions this evening.
