The only reason I mention doing the cups now is since you have the knuckles off you are about 85% of the way to doing the job.

If you have a press the bearings are pretty easy to change out.

Yeah Dustin and Jim have presses. I just read over Rob Robinette's page of how to do them...pretty straight forward.

Straightforward sure, but prepare for frustration. Call me if you run in to issues.

Dustin has a 20 ton press and I have the 12 ton. If his is setup use him.

It's just time consuming and scary as hell when trying to pop that first cherry. Was so afraid of being impaled by something or something shooting off and hitting my baby.

Jim and Stephen...thanks! Dustin is out of town for two weeks on his honeymoon...just all depends how fast the spacers sell, and they're off and posted.

I can do the bearing in an hour. I've done so many it's routine now...unfortunately.

Whew! Busy Saturday. Got up this morning and the wife and I picked up our first trailer. Got back to the house and after about a dozen or so tries I finally got the trailer backed into the driveway. I'm a total trailer n00b and kept instinctively turning the wheel the wrong way. Slapped some Thomspon's water seal on it and hope to get some practice in and work on a plan of loading the car onto the trailer the best way I can figure out (no flat ground around here).

Found an amazon package on the porch and turned out to be the Momo wheel (330mm and alcantara). Mated it with the quick release and will install the whole thing once the hub gets in.

Time to gut the doors, stereo & speakers, gut the horn and assembly, and install the wheel.

SPC ball joints installed this evening. I *think* the top nut is a 30mm...time to buy a socket. Got the old ball joints out pretty easy by soaking them in WD40 and giving them a good wack with a 3lb sledge. New ones "pressed" in using the actual ball joint body and nut. Pretty easy install and didn't need a whole bunch of tools.

My wheel looks identical, but is branded Sparco. Also, remember what I told you about backing up a trailer...
