Performance Chassis fixed my SPC ball joints to a T and got the perfect alignment specs. Only thing left on the list before CMP is to change the diff fluid and put some rear pads on. Headed to the trailer store today to get the trailer box installed for the winch.

So gutted the doors and windows...no more motors or tracks. Based on Rob's website, I tried (crudely) to fashion some window brackets to hold the windows in place while trailering to keep the elements out. Worked out pretty well!

A few pointers, at least for n00bs trying this.

1. Bend the deepest angle first. I made the mistake of bending the shallow angle first and that became a PITA...I will need to massage the bends a bit more to get the fit better

2. My measurements for the angles were 90 bends at 2" and 3 3/4"

3. I didn't take any measurements for depth, but used one single drill hole first as a pivot, and then used a small hex wrench with some grease to mark my other drill points...but the OE door holes provide a nice gauge for center.

Oh and 1/16" was PLENTY strong. I think you could go even thinner. Bending with the bench was a bit of a chore, so I used the vice a bit which worked really well.

Catch can installed today. Opted for the Bob's Autosport after reading the MotoIQ review on their Dodge Viper project.

http://shop.bobsautosports.com/Catch...rators_c13.htm

Very well built can with good baffling. Sourced the hose barbs from Carquest and some some vacuum line from Orielly's. Mounting point on the radiator allows for PLENTY of room for draining. I actually started to take the cruise control out today since I am no longer using it, but turned out to be a bit of a PITA to get the cable drug through the firewall. So I reinstalled it and like this location even more.

I actually went to do that, but getting the cables through the firewall seemed to be a quite daunting task. Maybe I'll add it to my winter project list.

With me in it and a full tank of gas. So the S is definitely a sub 2600lb car.

This is what happens when you go from XP10s to XP20s on worn out rotors

Winter overhaul in progress. engine/trans/diff fluids changed. Current mileage 30248. Oil analysis sent off the Blackstone Labs. New rotors and brake ducts on front. Hawk 9012 blues on rear. Old splitter has been decommed and new one has been drilled and painted. Going with a 2" lip instead of 4" lips and ditching the "Lowes-special" turnbuckles. Just need some new tires for the other wheels and get the leftover RS3s flipped on to the silver C3s.

After an 4 2day events and a trip to the Dragon the RS3s are still holding up great!
