November Honda Tech Day
hey guys. Now taking appointments for the first Saturday in November to get your cars worked on!
Sean and I have discussed some ground rules to help keep things organized and on track.
1. All OE Honda parts will be furnished by Sean. He gets them for 10% over cost from the dealer. He does not mark-up the parts. He wil furnish a receipt for you if you ask for one. This is to your benefit since his cost is 10% lower than any parts dealer online. Most discount Honda parts websites, such as Hardtopguy, offer you 20% over cost. We have run into problems where Sean is buying parts for the S2000's in anticipation of the work to be done and members are bringing their own parts, leaving Sean with empty pockets and parts sitting on a shelf.
2. To ensure we can fit as many people as possible since this happens only twice a month, we will now make appointments. Time slots will be alotted for each car. Locals will have earlier times. Out of towners will be allowed to come later so they don't have to get up so early.
3. This will be a first come, first served process. there will be no dibs for future dates or such. If there are more people on a certain date than can be worked on, it will be my discretion as to who gets to come. I will try to be fair. No shows will make you look bad for future appointments. Events such as the Dragon, beach trips, track days, etc. will give you priority. Second priority will be necessity due to mileage, such as a clutch slipping or needing new brakes/tires for safety reasons.
4. To ensure Sean actually has business come, and to reduce the possibility of people not showing up, we will now be requiring a deposit. We will be requiring a non-refundable deposit of $30.00 to ensure your spot is kept for you. when you show up, your cost will be X amount minus your 30 dollar deposit. So make sure you need at least 30 dollars worth of work.
This Deposit will be the final confirmation of your spot. No deposit=no guarantee.
Checks will be mailed to my address, made out to Sean. I will deliver them to Sean. If someone does not show, then this 30 dollars will be the cost of Sean losing your business, had you shown up.

Pretty much anything, excluding rebuilds.
Ex: all fluids, springs, shocks, tires, alignments, valve adj., transmission swaps, diff swaps, steel lines, master cylinders, electrical motors, radiators, alternators, etc.

Ok Ok Ok, THIS time... Im sending my deposit money in. I found ALOT of money that I hid from myself. Valve Adjustment... once again... my apologies on the no show last time, I had some serious business I had to take care of, hope theres no hard feelings. Also, would he charge to give my engine a nice look over, with 135k on her she needs it.

nice one, i'll keep a lookout for a tech day in december, sure i'll need $30.00 worth of work by then
