I updated the first post. Not many changes : You pay for your own lunch (a restaurant caters the event), there are two Driver's ed groups, if you do great they let you out alone (if in the DE group).
Most of the other information I got from them on TH is related to having a corporate day... but that is for another thread.
Finally, I am going to the July event. They are going to tell me on Monday if the S is OK as it is (stock, no hard top) and if so I will
send my registration.
For those of you who expressend interest in going to the August event you can still do so. As to the other dates I will let you know depending on how much fun I have on the 18th

I'm VERY interested in the DE group. October would really work better for me, as well.
Question: Is there anyway for two drivers to use the same car in the same day? Ron's pretty interested as well. Would he have to come on a separate day to get the same instruction/opportunity? Thanks!

S2k Awe, Obviuosly you are much smarter than I am ... I never thought of that.
From what the woman was saying on TH they have two DE groups pretty much everytime but they tend to be DE and DE Advanced. Not sure what is the difference but they seem to guide themselves by whatever the instructors say about you that day.

An alternative is for him to rent one of their cars. It is a Stock Racing car (300BHP, slick tires
,etc,etc.). This is of course more expensive (I think she said $500 but I wasn't really paying
attention to her whole 'rent a car from us' pitch). Come to think of it that would be

September or October work for me. July is too soon...No $ and I'll be on vacation in August.
I should have enough $ saved up by September or October
This sounds great...thx cashout for putting this together...

P.S. SC_Highlander, I know you had already said this but I had to say it myself for dramatic effect.

From the responses I have got it seems that OCT is the best time for everyone.
I am wondering if it would be a good idea to advertise to the other lists (Mid atlantic, FL, etc). What do you guys think?
