The Official Charleston Thread

Yea I was there. Walking around checking out the rare stuff. I met a bunch of cool people late in the day who either showed up too late or didn't quite get the idea, but will be trying again next week. Some thought it was a car show, and that 8am would be too early, so they came at 1030. The parking lot is packed by 830am, and people start to roll out at 10:02. I will try to get out next Saturday as well, around 8 to 8:15 ish. Was hoping to have a new lip and/or wing installed by then but probably wont have time.
Might get my mirrors painted though.
Still, its worth coming to. Saw my first BMW Z8 in person. There was an E-type, old old xk, speedster rep, and many newer supercars. but NO S2000s, except mine.

That bmw z8 was really nice- I didn't even know those existed. It had a really nice retro look in the rear. Yeah 8 is a little early for a Saturday morning.
On a side note there was a vendor at the farmers market on the other end of the parking lot that was selling a condiment called slathering sauce which is really good- if you haven't tried it you should swing by after the next one and give it a try. He said he would be there every Saturday until October.

The Z8 was a bond car. "The world is not enough" i think. IIRC, he crashed it into caviar... or something.
Eating food slathered with some guy's parking lot sauce? How could i resist?
