Post Hurricane Support

I know many MANY families were displaced and people needing help. I am not sure what I could do from here but if there are S2000 people out there directly impacted and need their S2000 checked out or repaired due to flood damages PM me and we can discuss options for a "non-financial responsible" solution.

If I/we can help in other ways post up here.

I am located in southern Chapel Hill.

Flooded s2000

Pinky, I bought my S2000 new 2006 and it has been my daily driver ever since. Before Hurricane Florence, I parked it in my hangar at New Bern Airport and evacuated to Greensboro, thinking it would be safe there. My car took on brackish water up to the dashboard when the river overflowed. I tried to work on it a bit but it wont crank over. Not sure what to do with her but I am in the market for another S2000. I am afraid it may be a total loss. Any recommendations?

We can bore scope the intake runners, down inside the cylinders and pull the valve cover off to see what we are working with.

What did you do to prior to trying to start it? Probably best to talk on the phone. Send me a PM.

I wouldn't call it a total loss but I'd definitely change all the fluids, new battery, and ensure everything is completely dried out (looking at you kickpanel fuse box and ECU) before attempting to start it.
