Priority Honda - Huntersville NC
I wish we were buying an M series. I'm almost sure we are going with the 135i, since it's a bit less expensive. After market is huge for these cars too, so tuning it for a little more power should be pretty easy. It kinda reminds me of my Mini Cooper just with a lot more power
I've always liked the 1 series even though a lot of people give it flak.
That said, take a look at this car (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=927394). Very similar to my old 335i minus a bunch of options. They are great cars and will handle nearly as well as the 135i, especially for daily driving, but provide better usability.
Also, be careful
a tune and a few other mods and the power becomes addicting. I've never had a car where 130+ would come so quickly...it just pulls and pulls and pulls.
Good luck finding the right car.

I guess I'm lucky to have a dealership I can put some trust in.
I bought the car at a dealer in Wilson and got to know the service manager well. He is a stand up guy and I have never felt that I was taken advantage of by him or his department including parts.

I'm not seeing the point of this.... I have zero affiliation with priority honda but they were trying to get you in the door, it worked. I'm assuming they decided not to offer you the full $18k as stated in the voucher so you took your buisness to honda of concord and sold it there for still less than $18k? Now you want priority to pay the difference of what YOU agreed to sell your car to honda of concord for? If you wanted $18k why not try and sell it yourself?

I did sell my car to Concord for less than the $18,090. Under SC consumer protection laws Priority Honda would be liable for my loss on sale. I'm not sure what NC laws are, but based on discussions with two friends that are attorney's the NC laws do not protect the consumer as well as SC.
I sure the folks at Priority know the laws very well, since when I questioned them on the bait and switch tactic they very quickly produce a retraction letter for the vouchers. Of course, they don't mail them out they just present you one at the dealership when you question them. Hopefully the compliant I've registered with the BBB will have some effect. I will also seek my loss on sale in small claims court. I work for a large company, so work of my experience will spread quickly. I haven't even started to blast their tactics through social media yet, and don't know that I will. Of course, it would be interesting to see my experience trending on Twitter.
Again, the sales manager let me walk over $2000. I asked him to split the difference, but he decided to be rude. I won't miss a meal over the 2k, but now it's become a matter of principle. If I'm an example of how they will treat a potential customer, I wonder how they act after you've signed the paperwork. I've not experienced that kind of BS from a dealer since the 1980's, and I've bought 18 new or used cars since then.
Yep, I get them at least once a month too. However, I've never received a voucher with no exclusions or restrictions stating the dealer would buy my car for $$$$$$
