Propane regulator and line
For my wife's b-day I got a 100lb propane tank to run our gas logs in the house. The line running to the exterior seems to be 1/2" male fitting, rather than the standard 3/8" that you find on the majority of gas grills and such. Anyone know where I can source a regulator and line with a 1/2" outlet?
I saw this, but dont I need a regulator?

PLEASE Brett make sure you know what you are doing here. Messing with stuff that can blow up you and your family is not a good idea unless you know what you are doing.
And YES you need a regulator but not sure what type for the gas logs.
Oooh yeah, that is one ROMANTIC Bday gift

For anything residential you need a LOW PRESSURE propane regulator. Local propane or welding shop should have what you need, or even Farm & Fleet (or similar). Gas log set should have a safety data plate (actually a metal booklet) with all the information. Recommend professional installation. Will meet fire codes for starters.
My natural gas fireplace burns 36,000 BTU per hour. If the propane version is similar it would burn 2 pounds of LP every hour of flame time (about 19,000 BTU per pound of LP). That's 50 flame hours on a 100 pound tank. In a perfect world.

Looks like I'll be making a trip out to Parker Gas Supply to get what I need. Yep, checked on the regulator after speaking with them and they have what I need. This week is gonna be hell. TSX is in a million pieces so we're down to 1 car, BCBS sucks, and after taxes, track days and hotels, and Katelyn's v-day/b-day extravaganzas I'm spent. I couldn't imagine having children right now. I think I'd lose my mind.
It's what she wanted Kev!

I have a 75000 BTU propane regulator for gas logs. I got it several years ago to run an outdoor gas fire pit. I moved to the edge of the forest where wood is always available, so I never connected the gas here. If you are willing to wait to VIR, I will give it to you. I am not home this week, so unfortunately shipping is not an option.

The spreadsheet has been replaced with "Pay this house off by X date" goals. As long as that's on schedule the spreadsheet is balanced I hate interest, and I hate having a mortgage.
