raced a yellow ap2 in my is300
I was on highway 40 heading north near the NC State exit and raced a yellow ap2 with a factory spoiler and front lip. Souned like he atleast had an intake. I got beat bad. Are you on the board?

Yeah that was me. 
I have the Mugen style CAI otherwise stock for powermods.
It was a fun run shavedturbo, I have always liked those IS300s awesome cars. I rarely race anyone but it was just such a nice cool night i couldnt resist. The first time we went i was right at 6k in 4th. The 2nd time i was at ~7k in 3rd so it had a little more kick that time
Airgate I think i saw you a little too late. Damn you and your subtle color. I saw you as you were driving away after you turned or something. Next time lay on the horn or something lol.

ya i was really curious to see how the is300 would do against the s2k. I have quite a bit more torque but about 20 less hp than you. I also had a passenger in my car but you smoked me so bad it wouldnt have mattered hahah. Makes me want to sell the lexus and buy an s2k right now!

power/weight and gearing advanage makes for a killer combo.
Once you drive an s2000 you'll be hooked. You'll have to stop by sometime and check it out. I am the Car Electronics supervisor @ ccity on capital, if your in the area come stop by.
BTW is your IS300 a 5speed?

automatic. I told myself that if i bought the lexus, i would keep it stock and get an auto so i wouldnt be tempted to power mod it b/c i could never do that to an automatic. Ive driven a few s2000's and am in love. Im waiting to graduate before i buy one. Ill definately stop by some time.
