Default Sunday Triad drive

I will be t the Dario's in Rural Hall at Sunday 11/27/16 @ 7:00am. The drive will leave Dario's at 7:30am.

The planned drive will go up Hwy 66 and over to Danbury and back towards Winston-Salem. Of course if folks that get to Dario's early would prefer to continue up into Va. a bit we could opt for a run up Squirrel Spur and down Orchard Gap. Option #1 through Danbury would be around 2hrs. Option #2 would run about 4hrs. I'm up for either.

I look forward to see who shows up at the Dario's.

Note: We will NOT be holding up any Buick cars. We also want to keep "The Pace". I have found the following link to provide a great guideline for drives like this. At the end of the day a good drive on great roads and no tickets is the goal.

This is a great link about "The Pace" TSBA main menu

Please post up who is interested:

It was fun. Too bad more can't make it out. I like going fairly early since the bicycles meet around 8:00am and the Tour De Wherever is in full swing by 8:45am. I like to be far away by then or just about back home. Don't want to be in their way

Yep good roads for sure. Good biscuits too if you get to the little store at Meadows of Dan when they come out of the oven. Now that the leaves are of the trees you can see ahead more. That way when Spring comes you have an edge.

A lap at VIR with 17 or so apexes and who knows how many shifts per session hitting all your apexes and shifts is good. Memorize 400 or so different apexes on these roads. Then hit them all. And don't be in the incorrect gear or miss a shift. You don't have to be going a zillion miles an hour to have a challenge that takes your mind off life's other issues.

Now if the temperature would get up a touch we will be in business.
