Default TCT Replacement

Looking for a reputable shop in charlotte to replace my TCT. Already ordered the part, just don't have time to install it with work so crazy right now. I would prefer somewhere that strictly deals with just Hondas, but not the dealership.

Just follow the steps to replace with a new one.

If you really don't have time (it's a pretty simple thing to do) try Compact Car Service on Independence Blvd. They have done a fair bit of work for me in the past on some of my past vehicles, and they specialize in automobiles of the Honda/Acura variety.

Dude, If you pay someone to install the TCT you are literally ripping yourself off. It is so simple its stupid to spend money to pay some. Unless of course you don't have the tools.

You'll need 10mm socket, 8mm hex, and needle nose pliers, shop towel/paper towel to catch oil, and 5 mins (which includes, popping the hood, removing and reinstalling the new tensioner)

If your ever in the Raleigh/Durham area I'll do it for free.

It's true. They are really easy to do. The DIY on here shows you how.

installing a new tct is easier than an oil change and takes far less time. you should do it yourself and save some money.

Someone should do a video to show how easy this really is. If you have a CAI it is even easier and quicker. It's something like 2 bolts, pop the new one in and bolt it back. Pop the Hex bolt out and pull the cotter-pit then put the hex plug back and clean up the oil that dribbles out. About as complex as changing the air filter and way easier than changing oil.
