Default Time for a change...

Well after 4 1/2 years of putting together the monthly meets in Raleigh the time has come for a change. I just don't have the time any longer to put the effort into it that is needed.

With that said Brett (RedCelica) has stepped up and decided to take over the monthly Raleigh meets. I think most of you that know Brett know how passionate about the club, the people in it and obviously the S2000 he is. I am sure he will do an excellent job going forward and make things a lot more interesting.

Don't worry I am not going anywhere and will still be very active.

Kevin, A large thank you for all your dedication and leadership.

Without your accepting the post as our first Grand Pubah, we would have missed out on many super times with the cars and the members.

Brett will make a fine leader and he can count on my help whenever he needs it.

I couldn't agree more, Lee. Without Kevin...I don't know I would have 75% of the friends I do and have such a great s2000 local community that would rival any on the east coast. I am glad Kevin is still gonna stick around, because I can honestly call him a friend.

That said, I will proceed to copy and paste ( ) Kevin's monthly meet threads every month as he has always done and post up some drives from time to time where time and ability allows.

Thanks for everything you've done for this community, Kevin! Look forward to seeing you again soon, it's been a while since I've been able to make it out to anything.

*Kevin, did you kinda know that BC would shut C&C down?! I just heard now that BC put the kibosh on this gathering now...Makes sense about what I heard about last weeks police presence on 540 and surrounding areas

I wasn't there last month and just found out about Brier Creek. I usually take the back roads to Brier Creek but on the several occasions that I took 540 in the last year I always saw a cop on the way there in the morning, not really a surprise.

I will keep everyone posted on the C&C meet, we are working on a new place.
