So, you dont know what to expect at a Social TSD Rally??? To learn more about TSD Rallies, visit this SCCA link--> scca.org RoadRally Info
Basically, it's having a great time competing alongside other car enthusiasts on beautiful countryside backroads for just 15 bucks. This is a contest of precision, not a race, taking place on public roads at legal speeds........Unless you get lost like me....... . Let's just say I've had to put the hammer down quite a few times

Afterwards, we meet for food and drinks, hand out trophies and listen to all the adventures of getting lost, missing clues, checkpoints, etc. I guarantee.....You will have your own unique story to tell!

Here is the link with lot's of pics from November 2004 " Pumpkin Rally ".

A great time was had by all.

I'd really like to do this. I'll have to find a navigator though. MyBride is directionally challenged.

Last Sunday was a great day for a Road Rally!
36 Driver/Navigator competitors went on a 3 hour tour into the beautiful Eastern N. Carolina back roads. Rallymaster John Wollerton did a fantastic job making this TSD Social Rally challenging for all skill levels. Coastal Carolina Chevrolet was our host and donated a Marque award for the highest placing Corvette. Marque awards were also donated by Sale Auto Mall - highest placing BMW, Coastal Carolina - highest placing Honda and Leith Imports - highest placing Porsche. When all was said and done, we met at Texas Steakhouse to exchange stories and hand out the awards.

Congrats to the top 3 Finishers overall. The following took home gorgeous pewter mugs engraved with the name of the event.

1st Place - Mark and Susan Tripp - 2000 Chevrolet Corvette
2nd Place - Richard and Ryan Franklin -2002 Honda S2000
3rd Place - Pete Engel & Michael Caley - 2003 Porsche Carrera
