Yeah, pretty much. DMV is ruthless about those stickers now too. Every one is accounted for. Sounds like Florida is your best option. As far as that fine goes, If you have someone write you a letter stating the vehicle was out of service, or undergoing repairs in a shop or something, DMV will let it slide. We do it from time to time for some of our customers. Has to be from a shop or something like that..a letter from your mom wont work.

Ok...you will need to write a letter to DMV stating that you have been out of the country and the vehicle has been parked and not used on any public roads. Include a copy of your orders. Also provide the vehicle VIN, Year, Make, and Model. Fax your letter to the Resolution Dept at this number: (888)897-6164 Attn: Resolution Desk
