VIR Full Course 10/22-10/23
 

Anybody interested? I'll be there this weekend just wondering if anyone else might show up. The only restriction up there is that you must have an aftermarket roll bar installed to run. (I'm driving a 996 911) Other than that, they are real slack on vehicle check ups...but I'm sure everyone here would have their cars in top notch condition and wouldn't have to worry about failing a check up. If it's anything like the 2003 Fall Fling, they will let any car on the track during lunch hour but with speed restrictions. Anyways, hope to see some people up there.

You guys are killing me with these track offers!!! I want to go soooooo bad, but weekends are next to impossible for me...plus I don't have a roll bar :( !

Unfortunately, "the only restriction up there" is a deal breaker for most of us.

How much? What time? Any more details? I'd like to go tear it up. Any restrictions to regular hardtop vehicles, such as a prelude.

The Fling was great! I got to take my car out on the track (actually I kind of snuck it out there) and I've got some pretty good in-car camera footage. The car handled great and I think I clocked around 2:35 on the full course. I'll try and get the videos on the computer so somebody can post it up. It's definately some good stuff.
