ap1 with just the filter install and airbox modd was 8hp gain. with all the modds i mentioned was 205hp. 209 hp is dam good for things you have done! if your satisfied with the perfomance with the modds you've done , thats great. i would change a thing.
8whp more with just a K&N intake and cutting the divider in the box? That seems very high for a filter replacement. Obviously you had to purchase an aftermarket ECU, or VAFC which can range from $300-$1000 am I correct?

NO bs, just with a filter swap and modd stock box=8whp. i would have been skeptical myself, but thats the truth. when i did this swap, it was done while the car is on the dyno. the tuner was impressed himself! the vafc came later on. i did all my modd checks at the same dyno to get somewhat cosistant readings.

When you say gutted what exactly did you do? I have the top off of mine, a k&n filter, and the center column removed.

I cut the center baffle out and cut a 2.5 inch hole in the end(passenger side).when i dynoed mine during the filter swap, we also did a run with the lid off and lost 4hp! also removed the elbow on the lid. i love dynos. sure way to find what works and what does'nt work.
