2008 S2000 CR – Apex blue Pearl (ABP), CR #154, 44,500 miles. This is an AC/stereo car (non-delete). All body panels have original VIN stickers (see pics). Paint is original, except the rear wing. The wing was repainted due to the original owner scratching it when removing the hard top. I am the 3rd owner, I purchased it in December of 2015. It has been garaged all its life, and in very nice condition. The AC and heat work well, as well as everything else on the car. The transmission/clutch/brakes/suspension all work as they should.
Modifications done by the previous owner (also a member on here):
SOS Stage 1 supercharger with upgraded heat exchanger and pulley. Makes 7 PSI at redline.
Invidia dual catback exhaust (stock header and cat)
ACT Stage 2 clutch
Rear diffuser (I forget the brand)
Tinted windows (tinted by the Honda of McKinny when sold new)
Viper 2 way alarm
The 2nd owner did all the mods at around 30K miles. The original owner was in his 70’s who was a retired Honda employee. He was a sports car enthusiast, who owned several Honda’s and sold this car because it was becoming hard on his back to drive. Both previous owners maintained the car very well and garaged it (as have I). Car will come with original window sticker, original sales brochures, and 3 original keys. However, I wasn’t ever given original key fobs. It will also come with stock parts if new owner wanted to remove the supercharger (pulley, injectors, air intake, etc.), but I don’t have the stock exhaust. I believe the previous owner said it makes around 350WHP on a very conservative tune. I haven’t had it dyno tuned because I haven’t had a need to. It runs perfectly and has great mannerisms.
Here are the negatives/quirks to the car as I see it:
The rear wing has been painted. The paint looks good, but it has been painted. There are some rock chips here and there. I’d say consistent with a 45K mile car.
The alarm is very sensitive. I personally don’t like it, and always wanted to remove it. I’m sure the sensitivity level can be adjusted.
The hard top latches rattle (as most of them do). I installed some paper into the latches to fix the rattle, but the latches may need adjustment or replacement if it bothers the new owner.
I’d rate the car as follows:
Paint: 7 or 8 /10. Due to the wing being painted and some rock chips. However all panels are original and the car has never been in an accident. With a little knowledge and time, I think the paint can be made back to perfect.
Interior: 9/10. No damage, very clean, no odd smells. All controls work as they should.
Mechanically: 10/10. The car runs, drives, shifts, brakes, turns perfectly. IMO this car is set up perfectly. With the added power of the supercharger, it is such a well-balanced and fun car. I’ve never tracked/raced/red-lined the car. It has always been taken great care of and pampered. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it across country.
I am listing it with a heavy heart, and I really hate to sell it. I simply have too many vehicles and not enough room. Only selling because I rarely drive it and my addiction made me purchase something else. It’s a blast to drive, I'm confident the new owner will be very happy with it. I’ve described the car as best and honestly as I could, buyers are welcome to inspect it for themselves. My price is set at $32,000 and I’m not negotiable. I’ll make room and keep it if I don’t get my price. I have the clean California title in hand, current registration, and current smog check. Please PM with any questions.

I assume flashpro EMS? Has the car been dyno'd?

Yes, tuned on Flashpro. It was dyno'd by the previous owner who installed the supercharger kit. I believe he said between 350-360 RWHP. But that conversation was a while ago, and I don't remember the details. The car runs so good, I've never been interested in re-tuning it. It seems like a lot of people are interested in a RWHP number, but the drivability and feel of the car should be just as important. I'm sure the car can be tuned to make a lot more horsepower, but that hasn't been important to me. This car feels like it has the perfect balance, and has stock mannerisms until you want the power. Its very fun to drive...
