SOLD - CA: 2002 Silver/black 83k miles, $14,300
Up for sale is my 2002 Honda S2000. I purchased the car from a fellow S2ki forum member in 2016. Clean Carfax, no accidents and ready to go as it sits – looks and drives great. Oil/filter changed with synthetic every 5k.
Mostly stock except for 1) AP2v1 wheels in great shape with stock• sized Potenza S• 04 with good tread and 2) an Alpine head unit with Bluetooth, CD, etc. Also has a trunk subwoofer and a K&N FIPK Carb legal intake.
The good:
• Clean title in hand – no accidents
• Good condition inside and out. It’s not garage queen mint, but there are no major blemishes and it looks like what it is – a 83k mile, stock car that has been well taken care of and never abused or modified.
• Passed smog easily earlier this year and is CA registered until May 2019
• Zero rust – had it on a lift recently and the underside is squeaky clean!
• Includes two keys+fobs, owner’s manual, spare/tools, floor mats

The bad:
• The front end has a fair amount rock chips that you would expect for a car of this age (see photos)
• There are three small (1” or less) tears in what I believe is the OEM top (see photos), which have been professionally repaired by Mr. Stitch in San Mateo, CA. Zero leaks. The same shop applied preventative patches bonded to the inside in the typical wear spots to prevent further wear
• There are a few very minor dents. I tried to photograph them, but frankly other than the ones shown (edge of rear fender and crease in the front bumper) they were simply too minor to capture in a photo. Should be able to PDR (I can refer a great guy locally) but they frankly never bothered me enough to do so. Generally the sides of the car are pretty much free of door dings, however.

Maintenance is up to date, recently replaced front and rear pads, coolant flush with OEM Honda.
