The Long version
I’m the second owner of this 2005 GPW S2000, and have owned it since November 2006 with 7,145 miles on it. It was purchased from Concord Honda in North Carolina as a Honda Certified Pre-owned. This car is in very good condition, I’ve never driven it on salted roads or in the snow, and has been kept out of the rain for the past 5 years. For its entire live, except for the first two years it has been garage kept, and always driven for more than 10 miles when out. It has been brought to about a dozen autocrosses (8 in 2013) in the 8 years that I’ve owned it. But has never been drag raced, “launched”, racetrack, track days, HPDE events or anything like it. I took care of my S2000 as much as I possibly could, but it isn’t perfect. My reason for selling is that I just don’t drive it much now and rather see it go to someone that will. In addition I will be buying a “new” car in the near future and could use the cash for a down payment.
Exterior condition
There is some curb rash on the bottom of the front bumper (not visible unless looking under the car) and on the front passenger wheel from the previous owner, and small nicks around the front bumper from highway driving. A paint chip on the passenger side fender that has been filled in with touch up paint by the previous owner. The rear bumper has been repainted (brushed up against a fence post while backing up), but the original VIN number still shows through the clear coat. It has never been in an accident, or made any contact with another car. The passenger side A-pillar was dinged up in an attempted break in April of 2007, but was fully repaired by Platinum Collision in Atlanta, GA; they specialize in repairing S2000s.The CarFax will have this listed as an ‘accident with damage to the right side, which is not true I have photos showing the vandalism. (EDIT I just took a closer look at the Carfax and saw that my request to have it revised did actually go through. The "accident" was changed to "vandalism".) Convertible top was replaced under warranty, and padding has been put in place to prevent future fraying of the top.
Interior Condition
Driver seat is in great condition with minimal bolster wear, a felt pad was put in place to minimize wear from the seat belt rubbing. Passenger seat is in excellent condition with very little visible wear. There is a small nick at the 4 o’clock positions of the steering wheel. OEM radio and speakers. Tough Weather tech floor mats from a 2003 Honda Accord, comes with OEM floor mats that are like new. The air conditioner fully functions and I even run it during the fall, winter, and spring to circulate the lubricant in the system.
Drivetrain condition
Just under 37,000 miles, no unusual noises from the engine, transmission, or rear differential. Engine is completely stock and never had forced induction. Only OEM filters were ever used on this engine. Blackstone oil reports made at around 12,000 miles and again at 31,000 miles to confirm that the engine is running normally, and 1 year oil change is fine when running Mobil 1 Extended Performance. Oil is checked at every fuel stop, and the engine burns no oil or has it ever ran dry. Transmission is a notchy when cold, but shifts flawlessly when warmed up. Many S2000 owners complain of a “crunch” when shifting from 1st to 2nd when cold, but if you shift swiftly with a light touch and at 4,500+ rpm there is no crunch. Still on the original clutch.
Tires
Dunlop Direzza ZII 225/45 Front, 255/40 Rear installed on April of 2013 by Ptuning with 7/32" of tread remaining, front and rear. I only replaced the Direzza Z1’s because they were 5 years old even though they had more than 60% tread life left. Original brake pads have about 9/32" remaining on front, and about 11/32" on rear.

In one of the photos in the for the driver's seat the color balance is off so it looks lighter in color than others. And there is curb rash on the driver side front wheel, but it doesn't show up in the picture.
