Yes, I did get it done at a shop as I don't have scales. I got it done at Main Street Automotive - Auto Service, Repair & Sales with Lester, who are in Clinton and specialize in Miatas. I've also heard good things about Fasttrack.

I should update now as well. I put in the new timing chain tensioner shortly before storing the car with a friend. I can certainly take it out on a nice day for a serious buyer.

Taken out of hibernation yesterday and ready for a new home. Have an OEM alternator on the way along with a light lithium battery which should go in this weekend.

Some nice weather meant I swapped the alternator for a reman NipponDenso (OEM) unit. Added a 2.2lb lithium battery to shave more than 25lbs off the weight of the car. Dash flicker is no more.

Ready for a new home!
