Reason for selling: Mostly age and associated lower back problems.A garage queen, this car was driven only in fair weather, never driven in snow, maybe two brief, light rain storms. It was stored in our house garage under a Honda flannel dust cover from early November to late April. The flannel dust cover was also frequently used in the garage throughout the year. NO RUST! It is like new cosmetically with very minor imperfections. It has been garaged if not on the road. Hand washed as needed; waxed, and clay barred as necessary every three of four years,; rubber parts have been treated with Shin-Etsu grease. Maintained as a non smoking car. Never wrecked or repainted, all VIN tags are in place and intact. The most recent oil change was completed at 18,932 miles, and there are no current mechanical needs. I serviced the car on a regular basis and maintained records. Castrol GTX 10-30 was replaced annually before placing it in storage. I switched to Synthetic Mobile 1 10-30, 10/22/18, mostly because of difficulty getting the Castrol locally. Oil changes were at about 2000 miles; the greatest mileage between changes was 3,090. Since 11/14/15 only 671 miles accumulated.
It is an extremely clean factory stock S2000 with the following reversible mods. Daytime Running Light Module installed. (All original wiring remains in place; if you don't like DRL, it is easily reversed), 3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film installed on front bumper 10/23/07 by a certified installer; have warranty card and receipts. I'm unsure how difficult the film removal might prove to be (there are a number of threads that discuss this issue).
The initial owner purchased the car from Dan Porter Motors in Dickinson ND on 7/14/06 and titled it in Montana shortly thereafter. At the time of purchase it had accumulated 328 miles. I assumed ownership on 9/11/07 with the odometer indicating 2610 miles.
Tires on the car are Michelin Pilot Super Sport, installed 8/23/12 at 11,947 miles and now have 6,411 miles. The rims are stock so the car has factory stagger. There is plenty of tread left, but high speed use may be questionable because of age. Alignment check & correction at 4/27/15 16,607 miles. Have vehicle alignment report.
The 0riginal top was replaced by Simpson Honda (local dealer) under warranty (TSB 09-033) 6/11/09 at 5,199 miles. They did a super job and I consider the top to be in very good to excellent condition with no tears or abrasion. It has received regular treatment with Formula 303. Modifry elastic bands to replace weak OEM elastic for top - purchased 4/25/09, installed after new top.
The right rear wheel has some curb rash; the other wheels are in pretty good shape, but with some blemishes to the clear coat, perhaps some minor nicks. The wheels haven’t been washed in more than a year so dirt may be apparent in the photos. There is typical scraping on the lip at the bottom of the front bumper.
Purchaser will receive the original window sticker and shipping notices, the owner’s manual, the Service Manual, the Electrical Trouble Shooting Manual, and my record book. Both key fobs and all 3 original keys are included. Also included is a brand new Classic Carriers stainless steel trunk rack that doesn't require body modifications (never installed)(I paid $381 in 2009) and a set of coco floor mats (one new, other little use). The factory tonneau cover for top-down appearance is also available.
Clear Title in hand.
Payment: cash or bank transfer only.

I’m from Dickinson and very familiar with Dan Porter Motors. If I had a bigger garage I’d be all over this thing! If it’s for sale my next snowmobiling trip maybe I could take a peek at it?
