NC FS:08 AP2 SOS Race Car 1of2 SOS customer's Car
Price: 60,000 obo
Location: Charlotte NC
Vin: JHMAP21438S000179
Shipping: Yes (enclosed trailer only at the buyer expense. I can help arrange this at a very reasonable cost)
Up for sale is perhaps one of the most modified s2k in the USA. This was 1 of 2 s2000 built by SOS racing for customers, the 3rd was their shop car which was sold on the forums recently. I am sure many of the true enthusiast has follow this build as well as know the reputation SOS has in the s2000/Honda community.
No expenses were spared in this build.
I will update this thread with more pictures of the interior and engine bay.
I only not in a rush to sell, so please make reasonable offers. Car is only available for showing/test drives to serious buyers with proof of funds.
The only difference between this car and the SOS shop car is that this car comes with the SOS supercharger instead of their SOS Turbo kit. (Currently makes 430 HP on a very conservative tune on E85 for track purpose)
I recently had the wiring for the datalogger dash redone with all deutsch connector and high grade wiring.
I have added some small touches to it such as the Mracing mirrors with custom mounts that i designed msyself,
I have also replaced the seats with Status (Hockenheim) Racing Carbon Kevlar racing seats, very few of these seats were produced.
I also updated to the Walbro 485 Fuel pump and to a Flex Fuel sensor so the car is tuned on both 93 and E85. Since it has the Flex Fuel sensor it can run any variation of the two, the AEM will automatically adjust for the mix.
This car also comes with a Quaife 69G sequential gear box. Gearbox is currently in the process of getting serviced. But the car does have a 07 AP2 transmission with very low mileage on it. This is also a major difference between this car and the SOS shop car. It is also the only SOS s2000 built with the quaife 69G gearbox w/straight cut gears (gearbox itself was 15k)
I have every invoice available for the car and there is well over 80K just in the build alone, not including the cost of the car itself (2008 with low mileage)
I will upload the built sheet as well as invoices later this week.

Beautiful car. I've seen the SoS shop car first hand at few of our local race tracks and it's really a fine piece of machinery. I'm sure this one is no different, as their attention to detail is what sets them apart from other shops.

Really cool car - any track times? Just wondering if this is more 'show' and less go? Obviously the motor seems solid but I'd like to know more about the aero and how well it's working. Do you have any pics of the underside of the car?
